In addition to providing over 300 low-income households with reliable and dignified access every week to locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables via Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares, during the pandemic, Healthy Food For All initiated special hunger relief projects with partners to provide fresh food and warm nutritious meals to the most vulnerable community members. Since 2020, over 30,000 pounds of fresh produce and 8,000 warm nutritious meals have been hand delivered to people living unsheltered, in shelters and in other precarious conditions.
This important work to provide vulnerable community members with nutritious food for health and healing continues. Please consider a gift to help HFFA provide healthy food to neighbors in need.
On behalf of the Enfield Food Pantry, I want to thank you for the beautiful, fresh produce that you provide every week! I wish that I was able to record the oooohs, ahhhhs and wows!! The clients were not only happy but also very appreciative. We know what kind of blood, sweat and tears goes into a project of this type so when we say thank you, it is from the bottom of our hearts. — Tracy Darlene Davenport
